1895 Saijuro Kaneko the First started seed business.
1922 Started to sell potato seeds from Hokkaido as the first company in Japan.
1959 Started to sell seeds of flower, bulbs, foliage plants, nursery plants and gardening materials.
1960 Started to sell seeds of pasture and lawn grass.
1963 Kaneko Seeds Co.,Ltd was established as a corporation.
1970 Started overseas trading and expanded seed production abroad.
1971 Started to issue “Gardening News” for the horticultural growers.
1973 Established Forage Crop Seed department.
Started to issue “ Seed of Pasture and Turf ”.
Started to issue “Agricultural Materials Guide”.
1977 Started to sell Chinese vegetables as “ Chuka Sai”.
Started to issue “Gardening Materials Guide”.
Started to issue “Seed Guide ” in English.
1978 Made a contract with Dekalb( America ).
1979 Made a contract with Daiichi Seeds( Korea ).
Collaborated with NIPBS.( Shell group )
